Book Review: 52 Laws of Love

‘Before we become lovers
We must learn to be friends
And before we befriend
We must learn to be strangers’

Book Review- 52 Laws of Love

Genre: Poetry

Author: Himanshu Goel

Publisher: Kalamos Literary Services

My ratings: 4/5⭐️

My Review: The poems in this book revolve around Love, Bitterness of Life, Sacrifices and Forever After. It is a short book consisting of a collection of poems (52 verses). The cover is unique and sober in its own way. Also, the title of this book is apt and goes well with verses. The author has done a commendable job by creating such short verses to describe the feelings with really deep meaning. The different perspectives of love have been amazingly expressed by the author. One can easily connect with each and every line of the verses. It is worth reading and I highly recommend everyone to read this poetry book.

Favourite Lines: 1. They say
                              only fools believe
in a love that is true
                              and only fools dream
                              then we’d rather be fools
than not love and not dream
2. When our words run out
and silence is the
most comfortable sound
we’ll know we are ready
3. I know you are waiting
for that perfect moment
but this time don’t count
on the flowers to bloom and
don’t rely on the starts to align
I know you are waiting for that perfect moment
but don’t wait for too long.

QOTD- “They say the rivers of love have been polluted.” What is your opinion about the present day love situations of this generation?
