Book Review: Quit Your Monday! Break Patterns, Find Happiness
Genre: Non- Fiction (Self-Help)
Author: Runjhun Noopur
Publisher: Locksley Hall Publishing
My Ratings: 4/5⭐️
My Review: This book revolves around Motivation, Inspiration, Happiness, Realm of Possibility, Fearlessness and Fantasy. It is all about “7”; 7 days in a week contributing to 7 factors of happiness and similar 7 patterns of disturbances. There are a total of twelve chapters, further divided into some parts. Starting with the description of how COVID-19 stopped the world from it's regular pattern, and lead it into a very new and unpredictable one. The book goes on to describe the different ways in which we can change our life, and the result that we intend to achieve by providing the guide at the end of each chapter. The main protagonists are Pam and Anay. It's a work on how we can change our pattern of living to live the best life. These are taught to us through the character named Pam and we all can consider ourselves as Anay. The story starts when Anay meets Pam, who through the course of seven days explains the different emotions attached to each day of the week and the seven traps that make us unhappy. Then, explained the seven secrets of happiness that can change life in a better way which are most important for successful life. The protagonist is like many of us who is in the black hole of the stressed life and he happens to meet a person who is destined to change his life. The readers can very well connect to the plot. The title and the cover is really innovative and eye catchy. I would highly recommend everyone to read this book and especially to those who are in need of some Monday motivation.
Favourite Lines: 1. It is not just about material gains and professional set-ups. Those are easy goals. It is about setting out on a journey to find out what makes you truly happy and aspire to create a life that is the best version of itself.
2. Sometimes small changes can have an incremental effect and may help you slowly build-up to the bigger changes you need and want.
3. Too often, we let the moment of weakness win over the moment of insane, wild courage.
